Elder Adriane Vance can be described as a woman who is passionate about the things of God and consumed with revealing His heart to the world. Her vibrant personality and determination to show forth God’s love in the earth are just a few reasons why Elder Vance is loved and respected by many.
Those who know her closely have heard her testify that she can not recall life without Christ. Even as a child, the presence of God has been with her and carried her through many devastating tests and trials including the death of her first born child, a divorce, emotional abuse and financial devastation. It is her story of survival and victory that have become the foundation of the power and anointing for deliverance and restoration that rests upon her life.
While attending Lincoln University in Pennsylvania as a Biology major, Elder Vance became a member of New Destiny Fellowship (formerly known as Greater Bethel Apostolic Temple), under the leadership of Apostle Thomas Weeks, Sr. where she was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. She later returned to the Washington, DC metropolitan area, her place of birth. For the next three years Elder Vance served at local area ministries in the capacities of Administration, Discipleship, Evangelism and a host of other areas. Professionally as a Business Analyst she successfully climbed the corporate ladder in the field of Information Technology, living in Europe while representing her employer in several multi-billion dollar contracts.
In 1997, Elder Vance became a member of Center of H.O.P.E. Destiny Christian Cathedral, now known as Global Destiny under the leadership of Bishop Thomas Weeks III where she began to serve in the areas of Administration and Intercession. Having been called to a divine order of mentorship and consecrated discipline, Elder Vance began an intense period of servanthood and was ordained as Minister in 2001. She served as the ministry’s Administrator, Web Designer, and led the ministries of Technical Support, Multi Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, and Publication.
In addition to serving as a Minister she was later elevated and brought on board as apart of the ministry’s Executive Staff where she served for six years. Elder Vance continued faithfully in her Clerical and Executive roles also serving as the ministry’s Registrar for worldwide conferences and events. She simultaneously began serving as the Executive Director of Sons & Daughter’s services where she coordinated the orientation and ministry placement of new members.
Elder Vance continued to serve at Global Destiny, under the joint leadership of Bishop Thomas Weeks III and Dr. Juanita Bynum Weeks. During a period of transition Elder Vance remained with the congregation in Washington DC Azizah Morrison where was ordained as Elder in 2007 by Lighthouse Deliverance Temple, Inc. She now serves as head of the Elder’s Counsel and continues to minister to the body of Christ with a unique compassion and commitment to excellence. under the leadership of Bishop Kevin L. Morrison and Elect Lady
In 2004 Elder Adriane Vance was given a tremendous gift by God in overseeing the works of Secret Place Ministries International - a non-denominational Christian ministry devoted to service in prayer and the ministry of the word.
Elder Adriane Vance is the mother of two children, Kaylin Ashton and Heaven Destiny. She and her children reside in Staunton, VA in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. There she home-schools her children, while executing the vision of Secret Place Ministries International living daily in dedicated consecration and service in ministry to the Lord, her family, friends, and community.
